We’re introducing IsonAI, an everyday AI assistant built from the start to understand the Indonesian context.
Most AI assistants do fine as long as the question stays general. But the moment a question touches everyday life in Indonesia, from how you address your boss, to where to eat in a particular neighborhood, to the way people mix languages when they talk, the answers often feel stiff or miss the point. We built IsonAI to close that gap.
Built for the Indonesian context
IsonAI tries to get what you actually mean, not just the words you type. It understands everyday Indonesian, including questions that mix in regional languages or English terms, and reads the situation behind them.
A few things it helps with:
- Places and food. “Legendary places to eat in Blok M” comes back with names locals actually know, not a generic list.
- What’s trending. “What’s trending this week?” points to things that genuinely matter to readers in Indonesia, not global noise.
- Messages and errands. “Write a polite message saying I’ll be late” produces wording that fits how people communicate here.
- Work and tasks. “Summarize this document into key points” turns long text into a summary you can use.
Answers you can use right away
IsonAI does not stop at raw text. It gives you something you can act on right away.
Say you are running late to a meeting because of rain and a packed MRT. You tell it what is going on, and IsonAI prepares two things at once: a message ready to send to your manager, with the right greeting and a courteous tone, and a note on tone so the situation is clear without sounding like an excuse. The same goes when you hand it a long document. What comes back is not a rambling explanation but points you can simply read.
Built and run in Indonesia
Like the rest of Epithre’s products, IsonAI runs on AI infrastructure we develop and operate ourselves in Indonesia. Your main data storage and answer processing happen inside the country; some web-search queries may be forwarded to third-party services as set out in the privacy policy. To us, an assistant that understands Indonesia should also run on infrastructure based in Indonesia.

In short, three things set IsonAI apart: it understands everyday Indonesian language and context, it gives answers you can use right away, and it is processed in-country, with your main data stored in Indonesia. For general cross-topic questions the global models are still very capable; IsonAI’s edge is clearest on distinctly Indonesian needs.
